Mason Gizard is our Student Ministry Director, joining our church staff in May 2024. In his role, Mason oversees youth and young adult ministry operations, thriving on connecting people within the church to opportunities for growth. He finds immense joy in seeing students grow and develop as disciples of Jesus.

With over a decade of experience working with youth and young adults in urban settings, Mason studied pastoral ministry at William Jessup University and is currently pursuing a master's in theology from Sioux Falls Seminary. He felt called to ministry from a young age, driven by a deep desire to share the love and grace of Jesus.

Outside of his ministry work, Mason enjoys cooking (he almost made it onto MasterChef!), playing the piano, and traveling, with Disneyland being a favorite destination. Mason is also an adoptive parent to his Son, Brian.
