Jeff Gillen’s story starts at a young age in the picturesque backdrop of a small Oregon town, where he graduated from Oregon State University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science. Soon Oregon was in his rearview mirror as he yearned for the sunshine that only California could offer.

In 1989, Jeff moved to Sacramento to pursue his professional aspirations. Over the years, he held various leadership roles, including Operations Manager, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Executive Officer, within the dynamic landscape of technology companies. However, in 1999, Jeff embraced the spirit of entrepreneurship, founding his own successful venture.

In 2023, Jeff chose to channel his expertise towards a new endeavor, joining the team at Good Shepherd as the Facilities Manager. With a genuine desire to connect with individuals on campus, Jeff aims to create meaningful encounters that lead others towards a deeper relationship with Jesus.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Jeff finds joy in the simple pleasures of life alongside his wife, Maria Gillen, who also contributes her talents to Good Shepherd. Together, they share their home with Champ, a retired racing dog with a passport adorned with stamps from far-flung places. Whether firing up the grill, enjoying movie nights, or pursuing his hobbies, Jeff embraces each moment with zest and a contagious sense of adventure.
