He has over 20 years in church leadership, serving as a Worship, Executive, and Lead Pastor, most recently at Willow Creek Community Church Chicago, IL.

Holy Thursday Love Feast
Join us for a special Love Feast on Holy Thursday, April 17, at 6:00 PM! We’ll gather as a church family for a potluck meal, enjoying fellowship and breaking bread together. During this time, we’ll also celebrate the sacred tradition of Holy Communion.
This year, we’re also excited to honor the children receiving their First Communion, marking a key milestone in their faith.

Good Friday Service
On 4/18, we will hold a single service in observance of Good Friday, a solemn day of reflection and remembrance.
Join us at 12:00 PM for a traditional Good Friday service, where we will gather to reflect on Christ’s sacrifice and the profound meaning of this day.
This service will also be available via livestream and on demand.
Easter Sunday
Join us on Sunday, April 20, for a joyful celebration of Christ’s resurrection! We will offer three Easter services, each designed to make this sacred day meaningful for you and your family.

Good Shepherd School of Ministry 2.0
Join us for Good Shepherd School of Ministry 2.0 this Lent, held on Wednesdays from March 12 to April 2!
This four-week course is the next step in our journey of study and training to become Christ’s called ministers. Led by top instructors from Good Shepherd, these classes will deepen your faith and equip you for ministry.
Enhance your experience by adding the meal plan—enjoy a delicious pizza dinner from 6:00 to 6:25 PM in the Café, then head to the Worship Center for the main program at 6:30 PM. Kids programming is also available.

EVERYONE is encouraged to join a small group that uses the 4R Model of reviewing the past week through praise, receiving God's word through scripture, responding in prayer, and redirecting our spiritual gifts toward others.

Baptism Sunday
Feeling nudged to be baptized? Want to reaffirm your baptism? Is God igniting a desire within you to take that next step of faith in Jesus? On Sunday 9/1, there will be a special time of baptism and reaffirmation of baptism (your choice of full immersion or a splash of water) in the courtyard, immediately following the 10:30 AM service.

One Service Sunday
On Sunday, 8/25 we will be having only ONE SERVICE at 9:30 AM. Join us as we come together as a church community at this single service. Let's embrace this opportunity to worship and celebrate together.
GS Kids & Littles will be taking place during this service.
After the service you are encouraged to join your council in The Hall for a follow up meeting regarding the future of Good Shepherd. The council will be responding to your feedback from the previous meeting. Childcare for kids 5th grade and under will be provided.
Good Soil Learning Lab
Are you ready for a season of spiritual growth but feel like you have no idea where to start? Sign up to be a part of our Good Soil Learning Lab, led by our Minister in Residence, Cathleen Demant, on Tuesday nights (6:30-8:00 PM) from April 9 - May 14. Childcare will be provided.
In this six week experience, you’ll be a part of a community exploring who God is, what God has done, and how we are called to respond as God’s people. This learning lab is specially designed to be interactive, accessible, and engaging for all types of learners, at all places in their walk with God.
Space is limited, so please only sign up if you are committed to showing up and digging deep.

Toddler Time
Join other moms over coffee and let your infants to preschool age children socialize in a beautiful, safe space. Every Thursday from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM in the Preschool building.
Littles Learn & Play Wednesday
Parents and caregivers are invited to attend this free event for preschool age children on Wednesdays at 10:00 AM in the Preschool Building. Get ready for music, stories, and some messy fun!
Encore Special Event
Encore & The GS Trustees invite you to join them on Thursday, 10/13 at 11:15 AM for a special stewardship event. Nathan Mahnke, a financial representative from Thrivent will be the guest speaker.
