Jeff Schulz, Director of Worship & Music

Jeff loves enhancing worship through music and letting others experience Jesus through passionate worship.  He is a classically trained pianist who studied ancient history and music at University of California, Davis. God pulled Jeff back into the church from a career in teaching, calling him to use his creativity and leadership to enhance worship through music and art.

One of Jeff's favorite pastimes is writing traditional hymns and spirituals, giving them new life and relevance in our modern church.  He enjoys introducing his own compositions, as well as both traditional and contemporary pieces to enhance worship at Good Shepherd.

Jeff lives in Orangevale, CA with his wife, Mallory, and their son, Thaddeus.
